I think the first trade wouldn't help you. The second trade is not that good but if i would choose a player it would be most likely torres he steals bases and has a good ops. I think you should seek another trade with phillips for a batter with speed. Phillips has a lot of value their is not many good second base men in baseball and u have two of the top second basemen.
