How could i tell what he wants from me? Although, im afraid to ask him?

I just got out of a 5 year relationship 4 months ago. Now that im back dating again i feel like i have so much to learn and that im new at it. I dont know what exactly to look for. Im really infatuated with this guy ive been kickin it with for a little while now. At first, it was a ual relationship. It really didnt bother me cause i didnt want any strings attached at the time. I think our feelings for each are beginning to manifest . I know that he likes me, im just not sure what he wants from me. Its like one minute he's inviting me over and the next minute he's acting like my boyfriend or he wants to be in persuit of that. I was out with my friend last night and he asked me to come over. I was texting him a couple times and he began asking me crazy questions like ,"Whats your fav thing to do?" "Where are you?" Im confused...Does he want to have more with me?
