1992 Prelude Si will not start? ignition coil?

1992 Honda Prelude Si tries to start but will not turn over. My brother was driving the car when he says it begin to make a sort of clicking sound, and when coming near a stop sign it stalled. A neighbor seems to think it may be the ignition coil. The engine only has around 60,000 miles on it, what could the problem be, and is the ignition coil a good idea? We don't want to go throwing tons of money away at this problem. Any ideas would be helpful!
