Good book on how to make shoes and materials I need?

I am a design student at Academy of Art Online and have gotten interested in shoe design and making since I saw Hilary Swank doing it on PS I LOVE YOU. I really would like to try it and was wondering what book would be good and some materials I would need to make a stiletto like shoe. Thanx I know this is a tough one!
