Who's the bad guy? I am so confused between the sunni and shiite?

Sunni muslims believe that anyone can be leader of muslims as long as they are the best for the job and if the people support him. Shiites believe that only the bloodline of the Prophet Muhammad must be the leader, that's highly unlikely because Muhammad's grandchildren were murdered by the Prince of Saudi Arabia many years after Muhammad died. Majority of the Al Quida are known Shiites, majority of Sunni Muslims are people that are more modern. That obviously answers the question. Shiite Muslims are the ones mainly in war while Sunni Muslims are the ones in charge. Sunni Muslims believe that Jesus is the Messiah that will return while Shiite muslims will believe that one of the Prophet Muhammad's grandson will return and bring peace to the world. There are differences within both sides but my opinion is the Shiites are a bit more of the bad guy.
