Collapsing trachea question?

I have a little yorkie who is about 3-4 pounds and i would love to use for breeding, but he has the disease collapsing trachea it only occurs when he runs or gets REALLY excited. Would it be okay if i bred him he is very pretty yorkie and would make very cute puppies but i wanted to know if its hereditary or not
