Carburetor pouring gas out of vent holes?

I have a Motorcraft 2 Barrel Carburetor for my 360 cu. inch 5.9L V8. What problem in the carburetor would cause gas to just steadily stream out of the vent holes? The float is good, and it looks like the needle is seating...
