Can someone give me a recap/ main points of the book the Da Vinci Code,?

I was supposed to read it kind of out of school, it wasn't an ignment, But now we're going over the same kind of topics in school and my teacher thinks i read the book so i just wan to be ready if he asks me any questions. Please provide some main points about art as well. Thanks for any help. And I know the Da Vinci Code is an easily arguable topic/ book, but i really don't want anybody's opinions on them, just the facts please.
